Getting to Benevento

From Naples Capodichino airport

Benevento is about 70km away from Naples. We discourage public transport, as they are disrupted and not running very often. We recommend renting a car or a private taxi.

Renting a car: car rentals are found at Naples Capodichino airport. Car rentals are a 10 mins walk away from the arrivals, you can find more information here.

Private taxi: Autonoleggio Cerrato is a private taxi we used multiple times and can recommend. You will have a special price when you mention Antonio & Teresa’s wedding.

 

From Rome Fiumicino airport

Fiumicino airport is about 240km away from Benevento.

Renting a car: Many car rentals are at a 15 mins (free) shuttle journey from the arrivals. Not many people seem to know where this shuttle stops though, so we recommend renting a car from those that can be found inside the main terminals.

Trains: Benevento is well connected to Rome by hi-speed trains, with a journey time of approximately 1h 30min. From Fiumicino airport you can get a train to Termini main station, and from there you can jump on a hi-speed FS Freccia train or Italo train. On arrival to Benevento, taxies can be found outside the station.
